  1. Do I smell cilantro and garlic in there too?

  2. Some of that on this mornings scrambled eggs would be great!

    1. I have a vegetable omelet with salsa in the middle, instead of cheese or some other obnoxious ingredient, most every morning. Salsa needs LOTS of garlic to make it much more palatable.

    2. Well I gotta find one too, but it can't be too difficult as the basic ingredients will be really good no matter what. I figure the heat level will be the tricky part.

  6. My wife did, but she's an "over-achiever". There are 50 mason jars of the stuff in the basement. They're good but I'm tired of salsa on everything from Apple pie to Zucchini.

Just kidding about her putting salsa on apple pie. She hasn't done that. Yet

  7. Start stocking up on jars and lids now. They've been in short supply all year.

    2. Lids? My drawers are usually enough to contain mine!
      I couldn't help it....

  8. We put up a lot of salsa and sauce every year. It was difficult to get enough tomatoes at one given time to do this so we now just buy seconds buy the bushel at the end of the season from a nearby farm/stand. You need approx.25lbs.for12 qts.depending on your mixture of other veggies. You can more than double the amount of tomatoes for sauce.
