And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
That's Jag XKSS. Jaguar had some D-type chassis left over when they withdrew from racing in 1956, so they reworked them into street cars for the American market. Steve McQueen drove one.
I miss my 64 E Type FHC but there is no way at my current age and girth, that I would be able to climb in and out as easily as 45 years ago. Was a 7 year restoration project, luckily during a time I was traveling to and from England.
One of the E-Type's features was that when giving it the beans you could watch the fuel gauge needle dropping!
