  2. The Mojave is the most venomous and fastest. Wait, there's more. It is also not as reclusive as the others. It has shown that it will attack even when no longer threatened. And I think it has been found as far east as east TX although don't quote me on that.

    1. It's also a big 'un, and tastes like chikin. Used to hunt them in the Anza Borrego dessert. When you got one, it was wise to sit still, as the mate was soon to come.

    1. When I was running the family ranch I wouldn't step outside without the Model 28, first two chambers loaded with .38 Special snake shot. Then after I gave it up my cousin found one IN the house.
      Glad I retired when I did.

  4. The most deadly snakes in AZ moved there from CA in recent years.

  5. Why 12g? a .410 side by side does the trick for most things, and is easier to carry, and doesn't bash your shoulder!
