And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Agree the RH object looks like an oak leaf. However, there does seem to be a furry-something directly above/behind the two empty flowerpots, on the woodrack. Its fur appears in contrast to the curl of the housewrap paper. Wonder what it is.....
Found the cat. Also in the center grass area all the way to the right side of the photo is a dead squirrel.

I’m pretty sure that’s a leaf but it does resemble the plastique gopher from Caddy Shack.
DeleteCan't see a kitty, but then I'm usually looking for other critters in wood piles.
ReplyDeleteThe slit eye was the tell for me. Nice hiding spot.
ReplyDeleteSlit eye? That eye is as big and round as they come.
DeleteCenter of the picture under the pallet, I had to blow the photo up to find it.
