Let's also consider the trade war with he US that China cannot win, their seizure, against international law, of ownership of vast tracts of the South China Sea, their ham handed spying and stealing. Many large international business are on the way out of the celestial kingdom, and those that are still there are reconsidering their business models.
Chinese leaders have only themselves to blame for their growing international isolation. With an inflated sense of their power, they have overplayed a weak hand and driven friendly or neutral countries such as the UK, Canada, India, and Australia into the arms of the US, now China’s principal geopolitical adversary.
So, as China’s leaders ponder how to respond to the UK’s ban on Huawei, they should heed the first rule of holes: when you are in one, stop digging.
Massive fuktard chairperson winnie the pooh pooh had it all. His country was prospering, the world's economy was doing great. People's lives were getting better. But chairperson winnie couldn't just enjoy his countries growth, no he had to let his virus lab release the wuhan lung rot on the world. Guess he figured if they were spending walmarts money on a killer virus, he had better use it to stop his mortal enemy, President Donald Trump. Fuk him, he deserves a special place in history as a stoopid fuktard.
ReplyDeleteWe may not really appreciate the extent that China was on the road to dominance via economic means as opposed to warfare. Sun Tzu would have been proud. Dog Fart Pooh may be so lost in the woods he never comes out....or maybe he'll contract one flu or the other.
ReplyDeleteSounds like someone got impatient waiting for China's long game for world dominance to work, and they ended up blowing it.
ReplyDeleteHitler started renuilding Germany as a player in the early 30s and, if he had played nice, would have led it into a minor power in the late 30s and 40s. Russia would have been shut out and if they invaded west, they would have been crushed by a Western Alliance. By the mid 50s German industrial power would have been the most powerful in Europe. By the 60s, with Russia in severe decline, German economic dominance would have been unstoppable in Europe. Hitler would have been revered and the world so different. Buuut no. He just HAD to want to conquer the world and kill the Jews. We wonder how things might have been.
ReplyDeleteChina might take a lesson.
ReplyDelete*sigh* Winnie the Pooh (bear) did a lot of sighing. Was hoping to gain perspective in the comments, but not seeing it yet...
ReplyDeleteQuick:
CCP hasn't blown it entirely. The UK... all... are becoming ticking bombs.
And our country is fermenting like an over-ripe grapefruit.
Khrushchev saw our country's weaknesses and knew it would eventually becoming a socialist state.
This nation's foundation was based on faith, not the frivolity that Khrushchev witnessed and testified to. He knew what holds a country together and saw the deterioration of our fabric. So pray - every day - often - constantly.
There is no long game anymore.
If Hitler had played nice??? He came to power with Brown Shirts and Kristallnacht. Lord could you be a bigger idiot?
ReplyDeleteI don't think so.
MMin, what Rickvid meant was "if Hitler had played nice with the international community". The discussion here is about geopolitical relations, not internal power struggles. Your deviance from the topic caused you to misinterpret, and misjudge. Unfortunately for you, your misjudgement and name calling has only made it obvious that not only are you emotionally unstable, but intellectually challenged, as well.
DeleteChina is venturing into the cesspool. They just signed a trade agreement with Iran. I am not sure of the details but my gut tells me the Iranian oil is a big part of it.
ReplyDeleteProbably oil for military technology...that china stole from us in the first place.
