Comet Neowise over Mount Hood, Oregon

  1. Spectacular shot. I caught a glimpse of it last night just before dark with binocs. It was small and fuzzy, but I can say that I saw it.
    That view of Hood is from due south; the glow at the bottom of the snow field is Timberline Lodge. This link has tips on finding it:

  2. Seen man walk on the moon, the launches of Voyager, Hubble telescope, ISS, the fly-bys of Halley's comet, Kohoutek, Hale-Bopp, Shoemaker-Levy, countless lunar & solar eclipses. Also, the turning of the millennium. All in less than one life time.
