  1. Friction tape says Bad Boy throw-down. IS it sitting on an old evidence bag?

  2. The holster looks a lot like a slightly larger one used to hold a revolver in a tower of a prison I once worked at. A guard one night missed the check-in call, so central control called him, no answer, so they sent a roving patrol to check on him. Seems he was practicing fast draws, lost track of time, so the phone ring startled him in mid-draw and he shot the phone.

  3. Michael dropped it as he was leaving a restaurant, been looking for it ever since.

  4. Maybe the tape has a bad-boy connection, but just as likely is that in the days before neoprene grips, the old wood grips were just too slick. It's possible the tape was added for a better gripping surface. My dad did that to his old S&W .38 for that reason. I came of age in the gun world when neoprene grips were beginning to appear, and today I won't have a pistol without them.
