When Mrs. CW first saw a picture of a tuna, she was amazed. She was under the impression that they were about ten inches long, like a smelt.

  1. They are big, fast, predators. They're also good eating. Particularly the Big Eye and Blue Fin.

  2. Oh I know that sense of wonder.... years ago I took my wife on a trip out west, the first time she had ever been west of the Mississippi River. I remember the first time she saw a tumbleweed blowing across the road and she was SO excited! "I thought those were just cartoon things....THEY REALLY EXIST!" I was a great moment.

  3. I always thought they were small enough to fit in cans - same as sardines.
