And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

look, wds, don't count her out just yet. this one has the experience of beating that old communist bernie at the convention. she is hearing the voices telling her she is needed by the party. she is listening to the voices. do not doubt that she will be there to answer the call to save the party she spent years to build. unfortunately, the voices are not saying what it is that she thinks she is hearing. for standing right behind her is Moochelle holding a knife to give her a Sicilian Necktie if she even breathes fast. as Moochelle knows, the party faithful think it's her turn.
