For whatever reason, I can always find Cassiopeia in the night sky. Now I'm going to have to use that to learn myself to find the Andromeda Galaxy as well.

  4. See the distance between the Andromeda galaxy (M31) and the star in the leg of Andromeda (the constellation)? The same distance from the other star, marked Mirach, gets you to another prominent galaxy, the Triangulum galaxy (M33). Not as easy to see, especially if you're in any size city because its surface brightness is lower. I think you can get into really dark skies fairly easily. A lot easier than I can.

  5. "Galaxy" is a huge word! Maybe "word" is wrong.. a galaxy is a huge number of stars... Ya, "huge" is good!
