And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Artist's rendering of the proposed Nikola electric pickup truck
It's the future of off-road, but you need a diesel or something to charge the batteries. 4 independent electric motors provide a lot of power, no transfer case, no transmission, no axels, lots of advantages.
Ok, that's a lot better than the gunmetal salad wedge shown a month ago. Interesting how Musk now has coopted the genius' entire name...wonder what Tesla would say if he were alive? (enter the lawyers)
Bog- Thinking they are LED's lighting up on acceleration...an LA street racer sorta thing.
Looks like they put an uncovered hollow space in the back so they could call it a pickup like Ford did with their Exploder in the early 200's. Looks like you'd be lucky to get more than 3 square bales in there not to mention any real lumber, pipes or ladders

ReplyDeletePresumably a diesel or petrol engine with hydraulic drive to each hub could achieve the same traction benefits.
ReplyDeleteElectric? Why do I see dual-exhausts?
