Some airplane action

  1. I love them all. I really do. But the tigercat holds a special place in my heart.

  2. Too bad it doesn't include the Corsair.

    Thanks for the post.

  3. Missing the F5F Skyrocket, though there was only one built. But it did fly until December 1944.

  4. Doesn't include the Corsair because they weren't Grumman Ironworks aircraft. F3F, F4F ( or possibly an FM2) F6F, F8F, and F7F. Saw a pair of Tigercats at an air show in Colorado Springs earlier this year, along with a F3F. CAF sent an FM2 to play along. Those Tigercats are amazing, but I've got a soft spot for the Bearcat.

  7. TBF or a TBM in the background, ya think?

  8. The second ship is an FM2. Note the taller rudder.

And yea, that looks like either a TBF or TBM flying lower.
