  1. Is this the same C-130 flight from Chile to Antarctica that disappeared from radar which I saw reported on the news a couple of days ago?

  2. This from the 109th Tactical Airlift Group in Schenectady, NY. They fly Antarctic missions in support of NOAA and such. The aircraft have skis.

  3. I lived for two years in Schenectady, as I recall it was pretty much Antarctica in Winter.

By the way, the drive down I-88 is spectacular.
