And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Superhero movies have become boring. They're so far out of reality & use so much green-screened CGI that I no longer bother with them.
John Wick, OTOH, is close enough to reality that I can still wonder if he'll get through; he gets bloody, he gets hurt, he doesn't always succeed in everything, and they actually seem to have a scriptwriter for his films. What a novel concept in these decadent days!
