And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Seems like a handy portable idea, but I've seen a winch cable snap before, and I'm not sure I'd prefer to be standing where that hand throttle is. Might be good for light stuff well below capacity, i.e. with a paranoid safety factor.

ReplyDeleteA hand cranked version would be better, it's kinda hard to find a 110vac outlet on a tree or on a cactus, or boulder.
