She had a big cat sanctuary out here in California. He daughter Melanie Griffith used to sleep with big cats in her bed. Hedren got a dose of reality when one these kitties snuck up on her from behind, reached up an peeled her scalp to the back of her head.
It was only playing with her, but she got the lesson.
