And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Too bad these were too expensive to build more of them.
The main reason such craft did not go into production is they are inherently aerodynamically unstable. They were difficul and risky to fly. It was the advent of small powerful computers and fly by wire technology that made the F117, B2 Spirit and other such oddly shaped but stealthy designs possible to fly in real world conditions.
The next generation is in the works...
