Handy to Have

  1. Craftsman and Kenmore the ONLY things keeping Sears' head above water. Unfortunately, their lifetime warranty on most (many?) Craftsman tools requires you to pay shipping to get replacements. How is that customer service? Also, why can't you get repair parts for appliances sent to a store for pickup? Suicide by customer no_service.

    1. Yep. But, take reasonable care of them and don't abuse them and it's unlikely that you'll ever need to replace them. I've got tools like that that are on their third generation of users. I always thought that guarantee from Craftsman was a good marketing deal for Sears because how often, really, will a hand tool like that break?
