  2. Great Britain is no more, mostly because of that beastly war. They lost far too many of their best young men; leaving only the lame, the halt, and those of dubious morality. The nation never recovered.

    Are my eyes deceiving me, or are these men's rifles tallest on the left and shortest on the right?
