And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Things that need to GO in order to sell me one. The holes in the trigger, and the goofy ring hammer. All that meaningless crosshatching. All of that is just a place for rust to attack. I hate the grips too. The "beaver tail" is OK but I have never felt like it offered me any advantage over a "standard" 1911A1 grip safety. I'm on my umpteenth 1911 and what I carry is a stock USGI 1911A1 with a flat trigger housing. That handgun is possessed of a lot of "gimmick" to sell a pistol in a glutted market. --Ray

ReplyDeleteDon't be a cheapskate LL, at least offer $5.
DeleteOk, I'll pay you US$6.00 for the handgun. See, Bogsidebunny, I'm a philanthropist.
