And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? Panhard Armored Reconnaissance Vehicles of the French Foreign Legion patrol the Sahara desert, through the mountainous massifs of Djanet, Algeria, in February 1958.
It was once, "March or die," and now maybe it's "drive or die". Do you know which regiment they belong to? 13DBLE?
ReplyDeleteI believe the March or Die ( Marche ou crève )unofficial motto originated with the BLEM in Madagascar.
