And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
This must be from the Paris-Dakar Rally. Or the Dakar Rally as it was known for a while. Starting in 2009, they moved it to South America to avoid terrorists. I don’t know what the current state of the race is.
I think that's Rally Kenya (now named Rally Safari) in '92 or '93. The men on the left are safe as they are on the inside of the car's turn. The camera man is in danger. Nah, the car is well past the gentleman and being carried further by inertia. It’s rounding a fairly tight left-handler, uphill, that is punctuated by the rock the gentleman is standing upon. The cameraman is in much greater jeopardy.
