  1. This must be from the Paris-Dakar Rally. Or the Dakar Rally as it was known for a while. Starting in 2009, they moved it to South America to avoid terrorists. I don’t know what the current state of the race is.

    1. I think that's Rally Kenya (now named Rally Safari) in '92 or '93. The men on the left are safe as they are on the inside of the car's turn. The camera man is in danger.

  2. Nah, the car is well past the gentleman and being carried further by inertia. It’s rounding a fairly tight left-handler, uphill, that is punctuated by the rock the gentleman is standing upon. The cameraman is in much greater jeopardy.
