    3. Night lasts 75 days. Svalbard is, I think, the most northern civilian settlement in the world. The flip side is the polar summer lasts for four months. The most northerly habitation is CFB Alert which was created as a listening post to monitor the Soviets during the cold war.

  4. I think that cabin at the bottom belongs to a Youtuber named Cecilia Blomdahl. She just reached ~ 1 million subscribers a few days ago.

    1. I've seen her videos and I believe you are right. What an experience to live there for a few years. I always wondered how the fishing was just off shore, and how polar bear meat tastes ( you know they've had some).
