And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I saw an Australian film called The Fastest Indian. The owner wanted to break the world record on the salt flats. He suffered major burns in his attempts.
Looks like foot clutch hand shift. I image kickstarting it would be a chore. I had a panhead and kick starting needed all of my weight and if it kicked back - look out.
That's a heck of a kick-starter pedal. Beautiful bike.

DeleteSince there are no shocks or suspension, the ride would distract you from noticing the burns anyway.
