Spring is springing in the Eddy mountains. Creek, streams and rivers are running well. Many melted out at low to mid-elevations. Snow bridges still exist along the upper half of drainage basins. Still, tricky route finding.
Vehicle access is possible to just shy of West Parks Lake road. Pavement is exposed for about 1/2 mile past snow drifted corner.
Cornices failing, and small roller balls on sunny slopes. No major avalanche danger observed aside from the cornice problem.

Northern Sierra/Trinity snowpack is at 120% of historical average for this date. Average snow water equivalent is just under 30".
