I like this use of old railroad spikes

  1. Sadly, they are probably available at "Restoration Hardware" and mold-casted. 10 slightly different molds so they never sit side-by-side on a cabinet and appear to be "hand-hammered," etc. A nice look though.

  3. Thanks for the idea! I can just go down the road and pick-up some laying close to the tracks, left behind.
    When we were kids we found some railroad torpedos. We tried dropping big rocks off of my garage roof, hoping for a Ka-Pow!.....Nothing happened.
