And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
That's a Border Collie. He doesn't need to go, he needs to run and or move livestock. I figured my dogs needed about 25 miles a day to get tuckered out for about 3 days straight at the ranch. Then we'd head home for a couple of days of rest and recovery before doing it all over again. Those dogs are incredible.
Guess I should have done an image search "before" asking, apparently Zion Canyon, looks different then the part I've been and way less people. That's the big drawback to Zion, they get several times more people every year then live in my state.
Speaking of "image searches" ... up until about a week ago, I never knew that they existed. But then, I am 78 years old and "modern $hit" confuses the hell out of me.
I absolutely love the terrain in our part of America. Though I was born and raised in SoCal and now live in Mesquite, NV, I see it all as one part of a gorgeous whole.
shame you dont publish the locations. would love to visit some of these places.
ReplyDeleteIt's rare that they have the location, or I'd do that.

DeleteSometimes google lens can find a place and if I really want to know I'll ask here as this fine blog has a knowledgeable group of readers.
DeletePicture 6, according to Visual Search, is Monument Valley, Colorado.

That first one looks exactly like a road we drove down the south side of one of the few things that could be called a mountain in Arkansas.
