    2. You might note the word "Rescue / Sauvetage" on the side of the fuselage. They're yellow because they're search and rescue helicopters. Ergo, the bright yellow paint job, to make them easier to spot for those in distress.

  2. Never seen a 4 blade Huey till now

    1. Bell introduced the 412 with the new rotor system in 1979. Amazingly as of 2017 there were still some part numbers that start with 205 meaning that they are unchanged since the original Huey of 1956.
      These aircraft belong to 424 'Tiger' Squadron RCAF explaining the paint on the parked one.

  5. Just over 2-1/2 years flying on B & C Huey gunships as a door gunner and I miss it every day! 116th Assault Helicopter Company based at Cu Chi, Republic of South Vietnam. No Regrets!
