Mom had a 4 inch Smith. her round of choice was wadcutters. she could and did out shoot all the males in my Dad family. she was on her high school shooting team back in "her day' Mom showed how to shoot. Dad taught us how to hunt.
I was and am. Mom was the first person I ever saw to do a "double tap" she could put 2 rounds so close together it just unreal. many a time I seen her put 2 rounds under a quarter at 25 yards like bam-bam. and she was even better with her 22 rifle. I still have it. a old Winchester bolt action.
My wife is a pure natural shot, doesn't use the sights on a pistol, as many times watching her to see how she hits the target, entirely instinctive. Raises the weapon so she kind of looks down its center and pulls the trigger, bullseyes all day long, every weapon she uses. Had her try the sights and she can't hit anything.
