  5. I remember this on sale in Flagstaff in the 1960's or early 70's! Many a sandwich as it was cheaper than the name brands like Rainbow.

  6. Growing up in CT, i remember my mom buying it a few times; early '70's. I think it was the 'stigma' of the name that she didn't buy it more. Good stuff...

  7. a hundred years back, people thought Ruben, Jay and Billy were names only unsophisticated people would give their children. this led to suckers being called Rubes, people who crossed in the middle street were accused of walking like a Jay, and Gomer Pyle type men being called a "Billy of the hills". Some clever guy combined that into hillbillies.
