And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I went with the Makita battery chainsaw. Ridgid doesn't make one and if I have to migrate to another battery ecosystem, it may as well have tools I can use.
Last year Stihl had a package sale offering a free $200 battery and I went for it. The saw is good, even though it doesn’t work on any other tool I have. It’s very convenient and I am happy. I will use the gas-powered Stihl for cutting large trees and major slash piles.
All these electric tools should have standardized batteries. As it is now every mfg. has their own battery design. Didn't we do that with flashlights 100 years ago?Ridiculous.
Hard pass. My 10 year old Poulan still fires up within 3 pulls. Works longer and harder than I can.
