And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I'll take one mildly upgraded with a 90ish GT 302, carbureted, a 5 speed, 3.25 rear end posi, power steering, power disc brakes, modern 15" tires and an old school am/fm stereo. No wifi/bluetooth/cell. The highest tech would be a solid state, high energy ignition. Would probably get 25 mpg cruising. In high school ('69 grad) a buddy who's dad had a repair shop, stuck a 351 Cleveland, with a C-6 auto into a '65 Falcon with appropriate front end beefing. Nothing could touch it. I joined the military in July, heard later he wrecked it and survived.
After 6 generations and 70 years in California I now reside in Nevada for 7 months of the year, splitting time with northern Wisconsin in the summer.
