  2. Seen other pic of this bridge/underpass. For about a half a mile there are multiple signs with clearance warnings. Still gets a truck every month are so.

    1. I am going to offer the suggestion that many overland truck drivers are not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

  3. Are the height dimensions marked in feet and inches? It looks like England with driving on the left, but I thought they used meters?

    1. Halfords is English (or was in the 1980's when I lived there). The speeds were in miles per hour then as well and I think they still are so maybe they still use imperial for some things.

  4. I drove for awhile in the 90’s. A lot of drivers in the truck stops were unable to communicate in English. Try reading a sign in Pakistan or Saudi Arabia.

  5. The company fits.
It's just their drivers who cannot read.

  6. Stupid driver unfortunately, we've had 2 that had issues reading height requirements and equating that with the vehicle they're driving . One incident was caught on our tractor camera, she stops before going under the bridge.....the signage says 13 feet max bigger than sh****, still proceeds nonetheless . Kinda funny watching the replay in the supervisors office .
