And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? 1st pic., Pinto beans, yay! Looks awesome! 2nd pic.,...looks...OK. I'd try it. I'm from Baja Norte (San Diego), hence my love of the awesome Pinto, Mexican rice and beans, plain, spiced, refried, on tostadas, etc.
North Maine beans are traditionally Yellow Eye.12 oz. fluid, soaked for 4 hours and then parboiled. 1 tbsp dry mustard, 1 hunk (2"x2"x3") "bean" pork (salted pork belly), 1/2 medium size onion 3 tbsp molasses, 1/2 tsp salt, pepper to taste. Bake for 4 hours @230F.
That book belongs in the trash! My hate of beans has no limit!
ReplyDeleteHaha! Beans, beans, the magical fruit....
ReplyDeleteThat 15-bean on the bottom looks good: but not as good as mine. Toot!
