Is there such a thing? Apparently yes.

  1. An good quality old rocking chair and a scotch on the rocks works too.

  2. Over the past several years, I've noticed that the shopping malls around here have set up these massaging chairs outside the doors to the anchor stores. I think they have a credit card reader (or something similar) to provide a timed massage. Mostly the people I've seen sitting in them are elderly mall walkers. No way I'd ever sit in some grungy chair at a mall.

    1. A few years ago, Park Place mall in Tucson had a dozen or so set up, and yes a CC terminal was attached. I didn’t like the back massage functions, but the leg massage was excellent. I think the mall minions were tasked to scrub them down once or twice a day, so not absolutely grungy. This Christmas, I received a leg massager similar to that machine, but not quite so excellent.

  3. You can find them in airports. Or at least SJC.

  4. You can find one in my (way to small) den for the last 5 years or so. Both my wife and I have had bad backs for decades. This has helped a lot. They aren't cheap,
but they are the ticket after a hard day at work. In answer to Rob above you can adjust the firmness of the massage or choose a different program totally. The squeezing and foot massage are great after stand on concrete all day.
