And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I enjoyed the No-Tell Motels of the 70's and 80's. Now they are all American Owned and operated by the Patel families. Not as nice, too.

ReplyDeleteIn the early 60s, I saw many Motels like that on the US highway system before the Interstates. I still prefer motels like that.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately many Mom & Pop motels have become welfare or refugee infestations along with the prerequisite bugs
