  1. CW...Thank you for posting the varied artwork and archeology posts!
While I like some "dank memes" as well as the next guy, the vibe you've created on your site over the years has made for a welcome change of pace and a nice place to "relax".
    Thank you, Sir!
You keep doin' what you do, and we'll keep comin' back!
(...and if you decide to hang it up one day...fair enough. It's been a great ride!)

    1. I appreciate that, thanks! It's fun to do the blog, and I do try to make it low. key, interesting and pleasant. No politics! So far there's no sign of stopping.

  2. Those look like the real thing, yet George Stubbs gets the plaudits for his deformed versions . . . .

  3. Just above the town where I live is a plateau that rises a few hundred feet above the Yakima River. The plateau, the Horse Heaven Hills, then rolls on and on south to the mighty Columbia River. The hills have been home to wild horse herds, with a fellow commenting over a century ago that the Hills are "like heaven" to the horses. Now the windswept Hills are largely fields of wheat, alfalfa, and barley.
