And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
outlawed both electric and gas, read how they contrived that piece of BS, all of the most affordable models, leaving the big ticket units and large commercial/industrial ones, it total effin' BS, play to pay crap, somebody made a big paycheck inventing that piece of official arse-wipe
Ignoring the stupid comment above, we have one of these and have enjoyed it in our master bath for years. Instant hot water. Only caveat, as with electric water heaters in RVs, this unit has a sacrificial anode rod that needs to be replaced annually to prevent mineral deposits on the heating element.
You might want to check recent comments at Amazon. Apparently they were pretty good, but about 2 years ago something happened. A significant number of comments about early failures, rusted tanks, warranties ignored or denied, mfr won't discuss, etc. I need a couple of these in rarely used guest bathrooms (a long pipe run from the main tankless) and these looked ideal...until I read the most recent reviews. 12% bottom two boxes, and most of those are recent reviews so the actual bottom two score is likely higher. Nope. Not when the downside is a flood from a rusted tank.
After finding out how totally awesome our tankless unit is, went to share my experience on the review-feedback, (Homeless Depot), been trying for 3 months to post a positive review, ain't happening, java scrip quits, hit send disappears, or says it posted for review, never shows up, couple time non of the comment functions work, etc., no new reviews have showed up, but i get constant emails asking for a review. Left a message but no answer back. Funny how that works, huh?
note nothing about tank heaters which waste 50% and more in energy over their lifetime
switched over to tankless, electric bill dropped in half, some months its close to $50 bucks. understand why they did this? can't be having any nice things happen.
I have an electric tankless water heater in my beach condo. They are the smaller units and last 5 to 8 years. I ordered a spare tankless water heater for the condo. I have a LP tankless water heater that was ordered last month that should be arriving in 2 weeks. It will be replacing a 14 year old 80 gallon water heater.
Biden just made these illegal.
ReplyDeleteUmmmmm....they're electric. Not gas.

ReplyDeleteIt wasn’t stupid, it was reality based and funny.
Delete"Convenient Hot Water Heater"! Why is it necessary, or "Convenient" to heat hot water? Why not make and sell just a . . . water heater?
ReplyDeleteIf it is hot why does it need to be heated?
DeleteOK, I see where you're going.
DeleteSchrodinger's water heater.
Space saving and long lasting

ReplyDeleteThe anode must be replaced yearly, mostly an electrician must do the work. Mentally add the price of that into the decision.
