And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
So I got one of their watches (an automatic) for Christmas.
Beautiful watch. Looks well made. Unique.
But ... three times now, now I've gone to put it on in the morning, and found it had stopped an hour or two before. That's a pretty high percentage given it's only January 8th.
If the self-winding system won't keep it adequately wound to tolerate an 8-hour "off" time, then I have a bit of a problem adopting it as a daily wearer. Most of my work is at a desk, but still ... I've never had this issue with the other automatics I own.
