And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I am not sure of the exact history. Labatt had a couple of dozen of these made in two versions starting in the late 1930's and in use till the mid 1950's. In case it isn't obvious they delivered Labatt's beer.
What happened to us as a culture? Look at the architecture and vehicle design we use these days. Every building or truck is a box. Every car is a jellybean. Everybody dresses like a slob.

ReplyDeleteThe designer was a Count Sakhnoffsky. They were built by White Motors in London Ontario.
