Another Beautiful Custom

  1. I am not sure of the exact history. Labatt had a couple of dozen of these made in two versions starting in the late 1930's and in use till the mid 1950's. In case it isn't obvious they delivered Labatt's beer.

  2. The designer was a Count Sakhnoffsky. They were built by White Motors in London Ontario.

  4. Did they always have a bottle opener built into the bottom of each bottle, or was that more recent? I remember buying Labatt's circa 1990.

  7. What happened to us as a culture? Look at the architecture and vehicle design we use these days. Every building or truck is a box. Every car is a jellybean. Everybody dresses like a slob.
