And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Stonehenge with a carriage and travellers on horseback, James Ross
Perspective and size of the mounted figures are curious, as I've been to Stonehenge, and although its monoliths are taller than people, they're not as tall as the painting depicts them. At my visit there I felt rather surprised to find the stones aren't nearly as tall as I'd expected them to be.
Obviously, before Benny Hill backed into one of the stones, causing a Domino Effect to knock everything down.
