And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I have two CRKT M21 knives, which I like a lot and they were inexpensive. I’d like to have a similar blade with their Deadbolt feature, but so far I haven’t been able to find one for less than $100+.
I first saw a CRKT folding blade knife at the Marine Corps Base Quantico PX during a "Modern Marine Expo" event quite a while ago. I did not really need yet another pocketknife but I figured that if the Marine PX had them then they were good enough for me, so I purchased one. It serves its purpose well.
My M21s are made so that you can switch the clip to the other end. I keep a little, non-locking, 3-bladed Case in my other pocket and it does all the routine work. The big knife is just for emergencies, so it never gets dull.

ReplyDeleteine is an M16-01K. Black blade, aluminum handle in British racing green. Have had it for almost 20 years.
ReplyDeleteBe sure to verify CRKT sku numbers when ordering online. There are cheap junk knock-offs out there.

ReplyDeleteNice knife for 60 bucks. You want a luxury gifting knife, check out the Grimsmo Norseman (and his other stuff). Prices start at only $1000.
ReplyDeleteCarried one for a little over a year as EDC. Really liked the slim profile and easy flick open, but found the blade did not keep an edge worth shit.
ReplyDeleteThe clip is on the wrong end, IMHO. I prefer to not have to rotate the knife before deploying it.
