Apex, a 150 million year old Stegosaurus that is the most complete and well preserved specimen of its size, is now on display at Sothebys in New York. That's a very large lizard indeed.

  1. just remember, the next time your kid brings you a little lizard he caught on the beach in Florida, that this may be the great grandpa (10^1000) of that cutey.
    BTW, the lizard's name is anole (that's a short, not a long A) and you're supposed to pronounce the E at the end
