And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Mrs. CW discovered this in the garden yesterday. There's at least one baked squash dinner in October or November.
I wouldn't get my hopes up to much. If it wasn't purposely planted, it is probably a seed from a random cross from what was planted last year. They don't normally yield anything of use.

ReplyDeleteCould be. It was a volunteer from a seed thrown into the garden as mulch from a store bought squash. Still, the journey toward discovery is the fun.
