The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? Who the h-e-double-hockey-sticks puts an electrical outlet right next to the water line for the toilet?! Seriously? I'm not a plumber nor an electrician, but even I know that is an asinine (pun intended!) location for an outlet! W-T-actual-F!
Not an outlet. That's a commercial bathroom and that "outlet" is the bottom support bracket for a vertical handrail. Since the handrail is missing that means it is currently a code violation.
