And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
My favorite time was when they used to have lunch buffets where for one price you could have all the pizza (and different kinds) you wanted. Around here (west central FL) they have done away with the restaurant and turned it into a kitchen with walk up take out (or delivery). They even use non employee delivery services that have no stake in the company! Ah, the good old days.
My favorite was Millington, TN. We'd go to the lunch buffet and the restaurant would give us the big room so we could drink beer and eat for a couple hours in private. AW "A" School, 1982.
Really? Only 20 years ago? They've sucked for my entire lifetime when compared to the real pizza joints in my hometown. Probably first had Pizza Hut 55 years ago. They always burned it back then.
They used to have good thick crust pizza that wasn't a grease trap, but then they changed the recipes and started just sucking. Last time they were relatively good was about 1980.
And the pans that were made by Cessna Aircraft 1984 Wichita, Ks.
ReplyDeleteMake mine a 16" thin crust, half pepperoni and onion, half sausage and mushroom.

DeletePizza Hut was our after game go to place (Tustin, CA) but no longer has dine in either.
ReplyDeleteNew York thin crust pizza cannot be beat. Especially that yukky pizza that you get from chain restaurants that claim to be Italian.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the thin crust. Thick crust or deep dish and ham and pineapple toppings are abominations.

Pizza Hut started sucking about 20 years ago, can't imagine how bad it is these days.

DeleteAu Contrair mon petit. Pizza Hut sucked the first day that it opened the doors of its first franchise on May 31, 1958.

ReplyDelete"theoretically" i "may" have a couple of them....
ReplyDeleteI was stationed in Georgia in the seventies, Pizza Hut was about as good as it got. Good pizza was hard to find down south (I'm a native New Yorker).
