And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
They quit putting Erie PA on the pans in 1900. I cook on a 10 inch every morning when I break my fast. Came from my grand mother's estate in 1968. She was born in 1886.
Similar story here. Mine I found in my parents garage after they passed. Once I looked up the years it was made using the logo on an enthusiast site, and discovered that it was likely from the thirties. Probably paid for with money my grandfather made working in a gold mine or the lumber mill. Now, I use it frequently - still as good or better than when new.
I've got a few of those. As the wife says maybe too many. I say naw.
