And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Man i could not believe how light weight the Hellcat is and how well it fit my hand. Not a fan of 9mm, but have to respect how they have squeezed every advantage out of the caliber, both ammo and pistols, amazing. Interesting how little good well made reliable firearms still cost compared to costs of pretty much all else. Picked up one of thise nifty Keltec pistols with 15rd mags, you het three mags and an excellent high quality reliable for $150 bucks. That is crazy. Its a great little package, not a fault to be found and all sorts of innovative and unique features. First time picking it up it was like handling a freakin potato chip its so light weight, hardly notice the increase mass with a loaded mag in it. It says in the manual to use high power rounds, which really works because it ate Stingers all day long, had a couple early failed to fires but past 3 mag dumps to break it first in after that trying every kind of load I had it ran 100%, not too shabby for a C not and a half ask me. I'm sold on these Keltecs, next the PMR30 22WMR, which has the nicest trigger ever tried out. And 30 rounds if 22 mag? Hard ti not like that feature. I can see why lot of ladies prefer it for self defense. Has a fantastic grip too. Got to test fire a range sample, its got quite the bark and fireball, ran 100 rounds thru it, ran totally reliable too. Showcase price is $327, good used one they had was only $245, holy cow, seems such a splendid good deal for such high grade weaponry.
Thats a cute mini 9mm. A lot of them are beginning to look a lot alike. Like picking a favorite flavor.
ReplyDeleteThat would bounce off a thick skull.

ReplyDeleteIMHO Keltec and quality are mutually exclusive terms.
DeleteA USP Compact isn't what I would consider "mini", like a Hellcat.
ReplyDeleteIf you knew the cost of materials and labor...guns are for the most part very high margin products to manufacture.
ReplyDeleteMy wife carries that pistol in .40 S&W. It was mine till I taught her how to shoot and then she decided it was "her" carry pistol.
ReplyDeleteAlways like the two-tones...
ReplyDeleteI will stick with my Sig p220 myself as you can't argue too much with a 230 grain bullet coming at you.
ReplyDeleteI've got the HK P2000 in .40 S&W. very similar to the USP. So light you really have to know how to pull it down out of recoil every shot.
ReplyDeleteUnless it's a Class II MP-5, there isn't much made by "You suck, and we hate you" I'm interested in.
ReplyDeleteYMMV.
