And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I haven't seen one since I moved to central Florida in the early '80s, but seeing walking catfish in a puddle late one night - blocks from the nearest canal - is something I'll never forget. The poster looks like it's not modern, but they've been in the state a long time.
Walking Catfish are a thing in Florida. I lived 40 years in Fort Myers - Cape Coral.
