    1. 1929 New Standard, 4 passenger front cockpit, pilot in the rear (he was a kid) flying over the Hudson out of the Rhinebeck Aerodrome.

  6. Read "Cannibal Queen" by Steven Coonts. It's about his biplane journey to every state in the country. It was fascinating. On a vacation to Ocean City MD, we saw a biplane fly over the beach. We found out who it was and he offered rides. Wow, it was fantastic. My wife and i in the front seat. Rudder pedals on the floor but no stick. He told us to not touch the pedals. It was such a rush.
    2 weeks later, he gave a ride to a couple of schoolteachers and crashed into the surf and died.
